dream within a dream

That’s Some Bad Hat, Harry.
If you watch “House” regularly, you will understand that title. LoL!
Charlie and I spent pretty much the entire weekend relaxing and mainly watching the holiday recovery “House” marathon on USA network.
Last night, we saw a few episodes we hadn’t seen before, which are from seasons 4 and 5, (season 4 finale and the first episode of season 5 – sort of a 2-parter episode, really), where Wilson’s girlfriend, Amber dies because of House. These were by far the best episodes I’ve seen so far. Absolutely brilliant writing and acting.
Hopefully we’ll get to see some more from season 5 in the next few days. If USA doesn’t play them, I will just HAVE to find them online somewhere, because I have to know what happens next or I’ll lose my mind!
In my opinion, “House” is THE best show on TV. Granted, I don’t watch a lot of shows these days, but it’s mainly because I keep my TV tuned to USA 24/7!
Anyway, so we spent the majority of our weekend glued to the tube and playing online. Charlie had the last 5 days off and he has to go back to work today. I hate to see him go. I’m sure going to miss him.
Marooned (Live) by Pink Floyd | Video
This is probably one of the most soothing and mellow songs I can think of. David Gilmour is a guitar god. He can really make it sing to you. I am always moved by his work. Every time I hear this song I get goosebumps on top of goosebumps. I friggin’ love it!
If you haven’t heard it, please give it a chance, even if you’ve never heard of Pink Floyd, or if you have and just haven’t given them a chance. You do not have to be into rock music to enjoy it. I believe you’ll like it no matter what kind of music you prefer. I could be wrong…but I doubt it.

My Son Is A Prostitute!
Ok, he’s not really, but in my dream yesterday, he was. I dreamt my daughter and I were visiting a woman (don’t have a clue who she was) and while we were there, the woman mentioned that she had a male prostitute coming over and that we needed to leave. But before we could, he arrived, and it was my son!
The weird part is that, in the dream, I found this to be so hilariously funny that I laughed for a long long time, and so did my daughter.
Just goes to show you how strange dreams can be, because I would never find this funny in my waking life! Not even remotely.
Subscribe To Comments?
So I’m wondering if there is a way to allow readers to subscribe to comments on WordPress.com blogs. So far, I haven’t been able to figure out a way to do this. Probably, there isn’t one.
Back To WordPress
All I can say is “Wow!” The new upgrade to WordPress.com blogs is amazing. I have been blogging at Blogger.com for 2 years because I never really cared much for the WordPress.com blogging platform. But after seeing my friend, ChaCha’s new blog, and her post about the new upgrade, I just had to come and check it out for myself.
I will make this a microblog of sorts, to write about the random things that float in and out of my head daily. I can do it in between posts at my other blogs. I think it’ll be quite fun.

And No Disqus?

I am disheartened to know that we cannot add Disqus comment service to these WordPress.com blogs. But I guess I can live with what we have. At least it is neat and clean. And I really do like the upgrade. Thanks WordPress!
